two-minute-hate --- type-the-flying-word game with a knock-back feature

last update: Mon, 18 Jun 2007

two-minute-hate is a game where your goal is to type the displayed words correctly. A word appears from a side of the window. Type it before it reaches the other side of the window.

The difference between this game and similar ones such as [typespeed] and [xletters] is that in this game a word stops moving for a short time when you type part of it. This ensures you can type all of the words if you are good enough at typing.

This game is for those who can type without looking at the keyboard. If you want to learn typing from scratch, try [gtypist].

requirement

version 0.4 or later

version 0.3 or older

A fixed-width TrueType font file is optional but highly recommended (you need a font _file_ on your local machine; a connection to a font server is not enough). The font that comes with pygame is not very good.
