| メキシコのゴシック／ドゥーム・メタル・ハンド、ディエス・イレの1998年発表の1stアルバム。1991年にJuan M. Dahern、Luis Armel Martinezによって結成される。Marco A. Gallardo(Vo)、AGONY LORDSのOscar Lopez(Gt)、Nelson Martinez(Bass)が加入する。Oscar LopezとNelson Martinezが脱退、Luis Ricoが加入する。しかしバンドは解散状態に陥り、Luis RicoとLuis Armel MartinezはGOD(GLORIFICATION OF THE DEAD)を始動させ、Juan M. DahernはDESACRILATEで活動する。1993年に再びJuan M. Dahern、Luis Rico、Luis Armel Martinezが集まり、バンドを始める。Eduardo Gomez(Ba)が加入し、バンド名をDIES IRAEと名乗るようになる。1995年にレコーディングを行ない、1996年にReborn Recordsからデモ「AB IMO PECTORE」を発表する。Luis Ricoが脱退したため、Eduardo Gomezがギタリストに転向、Gerardo Aguilera(Ba)を加入させる。だがGerardo Aguileraはすぐに脱退、Emmanuel Gomez(Ba)が迎えられる。デモ「THE LAST BRAETH」を発表。Oz Productionsとの契約を獲得するが、Emmanuel Gomezが脱退。Carlos Orozcoを迎えて1997年に本作のレコーディングを行なう。 | |
