Tycho Brahe Planetarium & Omnimaxteater
in the middle of the theatre generates over 9,000 stars and planets. Special
effects, laser scanners, planet projectors and an advanced sound system
all converge to make the Starshow a phenomenal experience. Lean back and
enjoy the heavenly dome above you.
Starshows
Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, designates a special
kind of light with truly remarkable
qualities. This light combined with exciting effects such as smoke, slides,
stars and Omnimax-films evokes an experience that is incredibly powerful.
Music and other sound effects unite the myriad elements of the show.

The Space Theatre shows extraordinary Omnimaxfilms
on its 1,000 square metre dome screen. The
spectator is encompassed by the picture,
while the sound system provides a true surround
effect - creating a total sensory experience
of actually being there - right in the middle
of events. Themes are often drawn from nature
with awesome footage of mountains, volcanoes
and towering ravines.

Fra 1670'erne blev regalierne opbevaret på Rosenborg. De udstilledes
i vægskabe i "regaliekammeret",
hvortil kun kongen havde nøglen. For folket blev de vist ved tronskifte
og ellers kun mod særlig tilladelse.
De var derfor næsten ukendte, da de blev permanent udstillet 1922.
Skatkammeret med adgang gennem
slotskælderen blev tegnet af arkitekt Peter Koch og åbnet 1975.
Opgaven er løst ved at skabe kontrast
mellem rå beton og forfinede genstande. De tre centralstykker er
Christian III's rigssværd fra 1551,
Christian IV's krone og Enevældens konge- og dronningekroner.
