EXT - SOMALIA PORT IN SOUTH AFRICA - DAYTIME
Subtitle “20 years later”
JOSTER gets off from a ramp of a ship and lands. He wears a white uniform, which explorers usually wears, and has bears on his face. He becomes a cool middle-aged man. JOSTER gives his large bags to the porter behind him and suddenly finds something and shows his delight on his face.
JOSTER
John!
JOSTER runs toward a fat man wearing a clergyman’s uniform. The man is JOHN. He is smiling at JOSTER.
JOSTER
You become fat!
JOHN
Don’t say that. You look like an explorer rather
than a scholar.
JOSTER

JOHN

JOSTER
Never mind. Have you been to that place
since then?
JOHN
No. I’ve been here for two years but I

EXT - AT THE TOP OF THE CLIFF - DAYTIME
This is the cliff that JOSTER and JOHN spent the first night in the jungle 20years ago. Woods are gone and it looks like more modernized place than before. JOSTER and JOHN stand there.
JOHN
We have been reclaiming this jungle. It never be

JOSTER and JOHN stare at the scenery sadly.
EXT - A VILLAGE (FORMER WON VILLAGE) - DAYTIME
JOSTER and JOHN riding a horse wagon are coming to the village. In the village, a lot of black men are working on a construction of a new building under a white man’s direction.
JOSTER

JOSTER shows his sadness on his face and comes closer to A BLACK MAN.
JOSTER

A BLACK MAN

JOSTER
OK. Iva, Ner and Toto was so nice to us 20
years ago. So, I wanna know where their
graves are.
IVA

JOHN

Their graves are on the lake near here.

EXT - THE LAKE SHORE - EVENING
Sunset gives a beautiful light onto the lake. There are nothing changed. JOSTER and JOHN stand there and stare at the lake.

Suddenly, a girl’s scream is coming from behind them. JOSTER and JOHN are surprised and turn around. A young black girl is running and three white boys chasing her. The boys jump at her and lay her down. JOSTER and JOHN rush toward them.
JOHN
What the hell are you doing?
BOY #1

BOY #2
Just watch what we are doing from now.

JOSTER
You guys are just kids. Do you understand
what you are doing?
BOY #3
We are forgiven whatever we do because we are
kids. The law saves us! So, we do whatever we
want until we become adults.
The GIRL’s face shows her fear. She looks like NER a little.
JOSTER
You, son of a bitch!
JOSTER kicks away the BOY #3, who are riding on the GIRL.
BOY #2
You, mother fucker! You wanna die!?
The boys take out survival knives. JOSTER is still angry and takes out his gun. The boys get frightened by the gun and run away.
JOSTER
Scums, you still need your mothers’ milk. (To the GIRL)

JOSTER

Suddenly, the boys jump out of the bush beside JOSTER and bump into him.
JOSTER

The boys escape. JOSTER falls down with blood. TIA screams and runs into the village.
JOHN
Joster!
JOHN holds JOSTER’s body. Blood is leaking out of his body.
JOHN
Oh my god...
JOSTER
Holly shit... I’m gonna die.
JOHN
Don’t say that!
JOSTER
John, ...You must save her.
JOHN
All right, so shut your mouth.
JOSTER

JOHN

JOSTER stops breathing. Some village men and white security men are running toward JOSTER and JOHN.

JOHN’s scream echoes in the dark sky.
EXT - PORT - DAYTIME
A ship leaves the port.
JOHN’S MONOLOGUE

2 years has passed since then. Since the boy’s were the sons of
bureaucrats of this country, they were not punished and they
raped the girl Tia several times till she got pregnant, and finally
they killed her. I could nothing for it.
INT - JOHN’S ROOM IN THE SHIP - DAYTIME
JOHN is staring at the land of Africa getting far away from him.

A servant touches JOHN’s shoulder.

THOMAS smiles at JOHN and leaves the room. JOHN stares at the sea. The ship is going on the sea while it’s being jolt by the waves.
