Falun近くのSundbornに、有名なカ−ル・ラ−ション館があり、妻カリンのすばらしい刺繍が、展示されているが、残念ながらオ−プンは５・１からであつた．

Inspired by his home life in the Swedish countryside, Carl Larsson (1853 ? 1919) created watercolors and oils
that reflected both his eye for design and
his interest in preserving his heritage.
The three prints shown here have been made
available to Country Living through the American
Swedish Institute. Each lithograph is printed
on high-quality paper and bears the official
seal of the Carl Larsson Museum in Sundborn, Sweden. The prints are shipped
ready for framing at a cost of $17.95 each

were used to cover seat cushions, drape windows, accent table tops, and
cover floors. Furniture was rustic and handcrafted by peasant artisans.
The entire family learned to garden, cook, sew, and create handicrafts.
The
Larsson hometoday remains preserved as a national landmark and international
symbol of Swedish country style. For anyone visiting Sweden, the Larsson
house is located in the village of Sundborn, 15 kilometers northeast of
Falun,Sweden.

is dedicated to the memory of one of the world's most famous singers. Jussi
Björling was born in Borlänge in 1911 and when he died in 1960,
he was buried here, in the Stora Tuna churchyard.

毎年、ミッドサマ−を祝って、シリア湖畔で行われるイベント、長い冬があけた喜びとして、民族衣装で着飾った村人総がかりで神聖な棒を建てる．

Leksand 経由でTällberg村ヘ,車は少ないので高速道路を快調に飛ばしていると、道路標識にテルベリ村という標識がちらっと見えたような気がした。
車はそのままはスピードを出していたので通り過ぎてしまったが、テルベリ工芸村は刺しゅうの販売をしていることも有名であったの、ぜひここによってションピングをしたいと思っていた。
車をＵターンしてバックして、先程ちらっと見えた道路標識まで行き逆戻りしてみると、テルベリ村という標識が見えた。
道路の左側にテルベリ村がこちらへという標識が見えた。
高速道路の左側にはシリア湖が見える。車を高速道路から下ろして道路標識に沿って、テルベリ村の方に進んでいった。
車もあまり通らないので道路標識だけが頼りである。
右側に湖を見ながら車をそれほど広くない道路を走っていくと、やがて前方に汽車の線路が出てきた。
ここは、シリアン湖にひろがる別そう地帯(地図)

テルベリ手工芸村
Klockargården är ett familjärt hotell i genuin Dalamilj
med 10-talet gamla timmerstugor runt ett rogivande gårdstun. Värdfamiljen
bjuder p personlig service, vällagad mat och många kulturprogram,
året runt.
Hotellet ligger i Tällberg som är en mytomspunnen by med unik
milj, konsthantverk, folklore och en vacker utsikt över Siljan. Här
är Sverige kanske som mest svenskt.

ここで道路が二股に分かれている。
左に行けば汽車の線路を越えずにそのまま今来た道の方をストックホルムの方向に帰って行く道である。
一方線路を超えて真っすぐいけばシリア湖沿いにこの湖をを周遊する形で道路が続いている。テルベリ村の道路標識はこちらヘ進むようにという指示であった。
ちょうど列車がやってきて、踏み切りの遮断機が下りて始めた。
列車の通過を待ってこの線路を乗り越えてシリア湖湖畔に車をずっと走らせていった。
シリア湖が前方右横に広がっている。
そして車の左と右側の両側には別荘とかホテルとかが、点在し始めていた。
この湖畔沿いの道をかなり走ったであろうかやがて前方にテルベリ工芸村という看板が見えてきた。
そこはクロッカーゴーデンというホテルの中であった。
このホテルがテルベリ工芸村を経営していたのであった。
時期的なせいでもあろうか、われわれ以外にはだれもお客さんはいなかった。
しかしテルベリ工芸村にある建物の各棟には刺しゅう工芸品があるいは土産物がかなりな品物で展示即売されていた。

かなり豊富な刺繍工芸の品物が展示販売されている．
お客はわれわれ二人だけだった．
まだ、時期的に早いのであろう・・・・・・

were showing their defiance of the ruthless pace of the Industrial Revolution
in 19th-century England, artisans throughout Europe were finding similar
ways to preserve the peasant traditions of folk art, hand-crafted goods
and materials, and the very nature of rural life itself. In Scandinavia,
the National Romantic movement would rally a similar group of artisans,
most notably Swedish artist Carl Larsson (1853-1919). Although well respected
during his day for his watercolors, portraits, and murals, the publication
of Ett Hem (At Home) in 1899 would propel Larsson to worldwide recognition
and lasting association with Swedish country living. |

写真に見られるように刺しゅうの品物はかなり多彩で、いろいろ展示されていた。キット類の即売もかなりな種類取りそろえて行われていた。もちろんダーラナ馬をはじめとしてこの地方特有の工芸品や、土産物品などもところ狭しと並べられて販売されている。私が驚いたのはあまりにも刺しゅうの作品の展示数が多かったことである。各建物にある展示即売物をじっくり時間をかけて見ながら、ショッピングをしていった。

ホテル内の敷地内に、何棟もの建物があってその中で刺しゅう工芸品などが展示されて販売されていた。写真に見るように女性の売り子さんがひとりだけいてこのすべての建物の販売管理をしているようであった。
