次にオスロ港の玄関にバイキングが建てたお城を見に行くことにした。港の1角に、石垣で積み上げられた古いお城が古風ではあるが威厳をもってそびえていた。まさにオスロ港をにらむ位置にそびえている。観光客はわれわれ以外にだれもが訪れていなかった。古びた石畳の道の坂を上っていくと、石垣に囲まれた中世風の古城が目の前に現れてきた。いかにも古いというお城の姿であった。この古城だけをを見ていると、まさに自分が中世時代に時代をタイムスリップ、さかのぼったような感覚に陥るような場所であった。この古びた感覚がとてもいい。まさにバイキングそのものといった感じの砦であった。

Originally constructed about 1300 by Viking King Haakon V, this
is one of Norway's most prized medieval relics. Akershus was
transformed into a Renaissance palace in the 1600s by
King Christian IV. Now completely refurbished inside and out,
the castle is used by the government for state functions.
Guided tours are available during open season, Monday-Saturday
at 11 AM, 1 PM, and 3 PM, and Sunday at 1 and 3 PM. |

こまめに、警察が取り締まりにくるため、駐車違反の車は、あまり見掛けない．見つかると、いつさい言い訳は許されず、また時間超過でも、すぐに違反キツプをきつていた．

国立劇場の前に、ノルウェ−の代表的な劇作家−イプセン−の
彫像が立つている．近代劇、現代劇が、上演されている．１８９９年
建設オペラ、バレ−は、”デノシュケ・オペラ”-det
norske opera-Oslo Nye Teater,劇場で上演されている．オスロ・フィルハ−モニツク・オ−ケストラは、
オスロ・コンサ−トホ−ルで演奏される．オスロのこれからの各種施設
での催し物は、こちらのホ−ムペ−ジでわかる．

国立国会議事堂のすぐそばにノルウェーオペラの殿堂があった。
ちょうどオスロの中心商店街のど真ん中である。

ノルウェ−工芸美術館正面玄関
1番困ったのはノルウェーの工芸博物館であった。
午前中は休館 で午後からのみ開館されていた。とにかく開館時間が非常に短いのである。

金属工芸品、装飾品ノルウェ−のクラフト工芸のメッカ
ノルウェ−工芸美術館には、１２世紀の壁掛け、家具、
インテリアなど工芸が展示されている．
展示されている工芸品
確かこの日の工芸博物館のオープンした時間は午後1時から午後3時までの極めて短い時間であったかと思われる。
このためわざわざこの工芸博物館の時間にあわせて他のコースを決めなければならなかった。
まことにやっかいな存在である。この博物館の前には駐車場もなかった。
