今回ショッピングの際に非常に助かったことはレンタカーを利用していたことである。
このためショッピングのたびにいちいち手荷物として、手にもって運ぶ必要がなくなり、すべて車の荷物台に置いておけばよかった。
これは大変楽なショッキングができることになった。
朝早いせいかショッピング通りにはまだ人通りは少なかった。
Usually shops in central Stockholm are open weekdays 9 AM-4 or 5 PM, and on
Saturdays 9 AM-2 or 3 PM. Department stores stay open Mondays until 7 PM,
and on Saturdays until 4 PM. Nordiska Komapniet (NK) and a few others are
open on Sundays from noon until 4 PM and later on Saturdays in the winter. |

ドロツトニングガ−タンの歩行者天国の、ストツクホルムを代表するショツピング街
北欧のインテリアデサインは定評があり、手織りのテ−ブルクロス、手編みのセ−タ−、クリスタルガラス、革製品、家具、木工細工
さあ-、買い捲るぞ-
この通りをまっすぐ進んでいくと王宮に出入り。
まさに観光とショッピングのメーンストリートとなっている。
歩いているとまさにこれから店の扉を開けようとしているところが何軒もあった。とにかく北欧は朝目が覚めるのが遅い。
もっとも、夕方店をしめる時間も早いが。 |
ここでファッションを観察してみよう。
この通りにはショーウインドウが趣向を凝らして展示されており、
女性のストックホルムのファッションが、非常にカラフルに、そして軽快なタッチで、いかにも都会的で洗練されたファッションであった。
服装もミニスカートが主流で、いかにも行動的なスウェーデン女性にマッチした服装であった。
ノルウエイ−の重厚さ、オ−ソドツクスではあるがとてもシツクな装いに対し、洗練された明るさ,華やかさを感じる
Norway Style - 重厚なそしてシック
これに対して、ノルウェーファッションはいかにも重厚なそしてシックな形のファッションであった。
色は黒と白のモノトーン的な色で、あまりカラフルな材料は使われていない。
服装もロングスカートで、ミニスカートはあまり使われていない。
同じ季節に、スウェーデンとノルウェーの国でこれだけファッションの色合いが違っている。
やはりこれは国民性を反映しているのだろう。
決して他国のものまねはしないで、自国の自分たちの好みに合わせた洗練されたものを守って、発展させていこうという姿勢が見受けられた。

Sweden Style -カラフルに、そして軽快なタッチで
pedestrian mall, which is still somewhat
under construction. Many of the stores are
large department stores and utilitarian shops,
but as more places move in that should change.
The department stores, NK, Ahlens City, and
Pub, are all located nearby. Of these, NK
is the finest, with high-quality merchandise
and a vast selection of all the big names
in Swedish design. They also have a handicraft
and glass collection in the basement and
a good selection of furs.Pub is a cooperative,
bigger than NK but a little lower in price.
The very modern Ahlens City is affectionately
called "Alle" by locals (and pronounced
"Olle"). It has a large supermarket
that compares to Harrods of London for quality.
In Hamngatan, you will find the enclosed
shopping complex Gallerian.
これがデンマークファッションのコペンハーゲンのファッションになると、スウェーデンのファッションをさらにもう一歩進めたような、より先鋭的なファッションに進歩している。
一方、フィンランドファッションに至ってはこれとは反対に、ノルウェーよりもさらに地味なファッションであった。
面白いことに、北欧4カ国がそれぞれの特色を生かすファッションが、それぞれの国で生かされて反映されているということである。

Birger Jarlsgatanショピングストリ−ト
 The more expensive
shops are located on Birger
Jarlsgatan and Biblioteksgatan,
a pedestrian-only street that runs off Birger Jarlsgatan. Also in this
area is the wonderful market Saluhallen, at Ostermalmstorg, where you can
stop for a bite or buy a sumptuous picnic to take to Djurgarden or to eat
by the water. A shopping mall, the Stuer Mall, opened in March of 1989
with shops, restaurants, and caf?s. The mall occupies the same building
as the venerable Stuer Baths, which have also reopened with their former
splendor restored. The baths are open to anyone. The shops of the Stuer
Mall remain open until 9 PM, and the restaurants until midnight.

ストックホルムの街をショッピングで歩いてみて非常に感心したことは、それぞれの店が自分の店の前のショーウインドウに非常に力を入れて飾りつけをしているということである。
ここに何カ所かの店のショーウインドウ写真を撮ってきてホームページに掲載しているが、かなり細々とした小物も含めて綺麗に飾り付けがされていることがよく理解できる。

このショーウインドウを見ただけで店の中でどんなものが売られているのかが店の中に入らなくても大体想像がつく。
中でも、一軒の店のショウーウインドウにテディベアの大きなぬいぐるみが置いてある店があった。
これがイギリス風の服装できれいに飾られていた。
ぜひ気に入ったので買って帰りたいと思ったが、あまりにもぬいぐるみが大きなので荷物になるのでよう購入しなかった。
熊がかわいかつた．
Tax Freeショピング−２０%以上の付加価値税がカかつてくるので、免税店で買い物をした．

the Swedish tax free system. Look out for the Tax Free For Tourist sign
in shops, and when you make a purchase show your passport and ask the
assistant to write out a "Tax Free Shopping Cheque".
