From Voss the journey begins by coach, through
fertile valleys with modern and traditional
dairy and sheep farms nestled below the mountains.
A short stop at Stalheim Hotel, summer only, offers spectacular views over
the Nærøy Valley, before negotiating
the hairpin bends of the descent to Gudvangen.
From Myrdal, the Bergen line completes the journey to Voss.
The train sweeps from the rocky mountains above the tree line down through
the unspoiled Raundal valley to return to the wide fertile landscape of
Voss. |

ここNærøyフィヨルド峡谷からAurlandヘは、フィヨルド峡谷のトンネルを越えていくことになる．
From the open mountain plateau the path takes
you down into the narrow, steep valley. On
a good path you can walk along steep hillsides
and rapid waterfalls. Sometimes the actual
path is very steep but safe. The peak experience
is the view from Bjønnstigvarden and
the abandoned but now restored Sinjarheim
farm. Hiking in the Aurland valley can be combined with hiking on the Hardanger
Plateau from Finse to Vassbygdi, 10 km from
Aurland. First day to Geiteryggen, second
day to Steinbergdalen, third day to Østerbø
and the fourth day to Vassbygdi. Accommodation
is in Tourist Association cottages. You can
also do each trip individually.

Nærøyフィヨルド峡谷沿いに、Ｅ１６号線を海のほうに向つていけば、Gudvangenに出る．
Ｅ１６号線は、ここからはフェリ−で、フロムの町に結ばれている．
Fjordtell is the ideal place to begin a tour
of the Sogn area's many attractions. It is
the starting point for ferries that provide
fjord tours as well as transportation to
the places of interest for which Sogn is
famous. You might wish to take the ferry
up to the Nærøyfjord to Aurland. And Flåm Once in Flåm you can
take the Flåmline train (one of the
world's most special railroads). This ride,
along with the Nærøyfjord ferrytrip
and visit Gudvangen
completes the "Norway-in-a-nutshell" tour.

Nærøyフィヨルド峡谷の谷間に開かれた、一本の道がどこまでも続く！フィヨルド峡谷の頂上からは、何本も糸筋が、真っ直ぐ下界へと尾をひいている．
谷底にいるためか、その荒々しい岩肌とあいまつて大自然の迫力に圧倒される！！！！
Alternately, you can take a ferry up the Nærøyfjord to Kaupanger. Here you can visit the Heiberg
collection - an outdoor folkpark - and Boat
Museum. Yet another ferry destination is
Refsnes. From here it is a short drive to
Lærdal where the beautiful Borgund
stave church is located . If you wish to
explore the Gudvangen valley, we recommend
a trip to Stalheimsskleivane. This breathtaking
vista spot is reached by an extraordinarily
narrow
zig-zag road which offers a new and dramatic view around every curve.
